Better water, better coffee

Water Filtration

Coffee is mostly water, so the water you use has a big effect on both flavour and the life of your machine. Hard water leaves limescale in boilers, pipes and valves, reducing performance and leading to some of the most common coffee machine repairs we see in our workshop. Our range includes in-tank filters from Brita, De'Longhi, Smeg and Breville made to fit specific machines, plus Brita Purity C plumbed-in cartridges and filter heads for cafes and plumbed home setups. Filtered water reduces scale build-up, removes chlorine taste and helps your coffee taste cleaner and sweeter. Most in-tank filters should be replaced every two to three months, depending on your water hardness and how often you use your machine. Not sure which filter suits your model? Our technicians can point you to the right one, so your machine keeps performing at its best for years. Good water is the cheapest upgrade you can make.

Protect Your Machine

Limescale builds up silently inside boilers, heating elements and valves, reducing performance and eventually causing blockages and failures. As a repair centre, we see the effects of hard water every week. Filtering your water is one of the simplest ways to extend the life of your machine and reduce coffee machine repairs.

Better Tasting Coffee

Filtered water removes chlorine and other off flavours, letting the coffee itself shine. Many cafes treat water quality as seriously as their beans for exactly this reason.

In-Tank or Plumbed-In?

In-tank filters sit in the water reservoir of home machines and are made to fit specific brands. Plumbed-in systems such as Brita Purity C connect to the water supply and suit cafes and plumbed home machines. Not sure which you need? Our team can help.
