Common faults
Common La Pavoni faults we fix
La Pavoni machines are built to last, but daily use, heat and scale build-up wear components over time. These are the faults we see most on lever and pump machines.
Stiff or rough lever
A stiff or rough lever on manual machines usually points to worn piston seals or a lack of internal lubrication.
Loss of pressure
Weak steam or brew pressure often comes from scale in the boiler, a faulty pressurestat or a worn heating element.
Water leaks
Puddles around the base usually come from hardened group gaskets, worn sight glass seals or loose internal plumbing.
No power or not heating
A machine that won't heat up may need a new boiler element, thermal fuse or power switch.
Pump failures
On pump models, a noisy or failing vibratory pump restricts water flow, giving weak extraction and poor espresso.
Grinder problems
For La Pavoni grinders, strange noises or inconsistent grinding usually mean the burrs need cleaning, adjusting or replacing.

FAQs
La Pavoni repair questions
Are you an authorised La Pavoni repairer?
Yes. Prestige is an authorised La Pavoni service agent, with manufacturer training and full access to La Pavoni technical information and genuine parts.
My La Pavoni is still under warranty. What should I do?
Just bring your machine into our Torrensville workshop with a copy of your receipt. We handle La Pavoni warranty repairs directly, so there's nothing to pay and no need to contact anyone else first.
Do you repair La Pavoni lever machines like the Europiccola?
Yes. We repair and service both La Pavoni manual lever machines, such as the Europiccola and Professional, and pump machines like the Cellini and Botticelli. Lever machines benefit from regular seal and gasket replacement to keep the lever smooth and leak-free.
Is there a fee to assess my machine?
For out-of-warranty machines, a workshop assessment fee is payable when you drop your machine in. Warranty repairs cost you nothing, just bring your receipt.
How often should my La Pavoni be serviced?
We recommend a professional service every 12 months. Adelaide's hard water builds scale quickly, so regular servicing helps prevent pressure loss and heating faults.
