They only recommend this for those likely to undertake further study in hospitality, such as a Certificate I, II or III in Hospitality Management, so you have recognition of prior learning in these units.
If you're learning to make coffee for employment this upgrade is unnecessary, as employers interview and employ against your ability to make good coffee.
The Statement of Attainment is a transcript of the two accredited units you complete during your training with HG: SITHFAB025, Prepare and serve espresso coffee and SITXFSA005, Use hygienic practices for food safety.
This is delivered under a Third Party Agreement with Time Education and Training RTO: 40058. On successful completion, you'll receive a Statement of Attainment issued by Time Education and Training RTO: 40058. To have your training registered, please contact HG before making your booking.
Students 12 years and up generally have no trouble at all learning to make amazing coffee. As a rule, if you can confidently pour a cup of tea at home you'll have no trouble. If in doubt, contact HG.
