Common questions about coffee equipment finance
Do I need a trading history to finance a coffee machine?
Not for Rent-Try-Buy. It's built for brand-new businesses as well as established ones, so a new cafe or office fit-out can apply without a trading history. Lease-to-Keep is generally aimed at businesses that have been trading for more than 12 months.
What's the difference between Rent-Try-Buy and Lease-to-Keep?
Rent-Try-Buy is a flexible 12-month rental agreement that lets you change, upgrade or buy your equipment at any point, with a rebate on past payments if you buy. Lease-to-Keep is a fixed agreement over 2 to 5 years at a fixed interest rate, and you own the equipment once the term ends.
What equipment can I finance?
Commercial and office coffee machines, coffee grinders, machine and grinder packages, and office coffee setups that we supply. SilverChef can also finance wider hospitality equipment for your business.
Is finance only available in Adelaide?
No. Prestige Coffee is based in Torrensville, Adelaide, but SilverChef finance and our equipment supply are available to hospitality and office customers right across Australia.
Are the repayments tax deductible?
Rent-Try-Buy payments are 100% tax deductible as a rental expense. Under Lease-to-Keep, the interest portion of your repayments and the equipment's depreciation are tax deductible. Speak with your accountant about your own circumstances.
Who services the machine while it's on finance?
We do. Prestige Coffee is part of Prestige Repairs, South Australia's largest appliance repair centre, and an authorised service agent for the brands we sell, so your machine is supported for its whole life.
