Brita Purity C Filter Head

Why Choose The Brita Purity C Filter Head for Your Coffee Machine Filters Setup

Unlike fixed filtration systems, the Purity C Filter Head features a variable bypass setting, allowing you to fine-tune how much water passes through the filter cartridge versus how much bypasses it. This means you can tailor the balance between scale protection and mineral retention to suit your local water hardness and the flavour profile you're after. Getting this balance right is essential for consistent extraction, longer machine lifespan and reduced maintenance costs — particularly important for busy commercial kitchens where downtime isn't an option.

The filter head is compatible with the full Purity C cartridge family, including the C50, C150, C300, C500 and C1100, so it can be scaled to match water volume demands from a small café bar to a high-output commercial operation. Installation is straightforward thanks to the 3/8" BSP male connection, and the unit can be mounted vertically, horizontally or overhead, giving plumbers and technicians flexibility when fitting it into tight equipment spaces.

Designed for Easy Install and Use

Built-in flushing and ventilation functions make servicing quick and hygienic, while the tool-free cartridge swap means filter changes can typically be completed in a couple of minutes without shutting down your machine for extended periods. This is a genuine advantage for venues that can't afford long service interruptions during trading hours.

For any business relying on consistent water quality — whether for espresso extraction, steam ovens or beverage machines — investing in a properly specified filter head is one of the most cost-effective ways to prevent limescale build-up, protect internal components and maintain water taste and clarity. Prestige Coffee stocks the Brita Purity C Filter Head as part of our broader range of commercial water filtration solutions, helping operators source the right coffee machine filters for their specific setup and water conditions.

Pair this filter head with the appropriate Purity C cartridge based on your local water hardness and expected throughput for best results.
