It tamps the coffee in your portafilter at a set pressure and perfectly level, every time. That removes tamping as a variable and reduces wrist strain in busy cafes.

Which PuqPress model do I need?

PuqPress models differ in size, mounting and portafilter compatibility. Let us know your machine and grinder and we will confirm the right fit.

Can I adjust the tamping pressure?

Yes. PuqPress tampers let you set the tamping pressure to suit your preference.

PuqPress Automatic Coffee Tampers

PuqPress automatic tampers deliver a perfectly level, consistent tamp every time, removing one of the biggest variables in espresso. Insert your portafilter and the PuqPress tamps at a set pressure, which you can adjust to suit your preference. The result is more even extraction, faster workflow and less strain on baristas' wrists, which is why PuqPress is a familiar sight in specialty cafes. Our range includes the M and Q series, with models in different sizes and mounting styles. Some are designed to sit neatly under specific grinders, while others stand alone on the bench. In cafes, PuqPress helps every barista produce the same shot, whoever is on the machine. At home, it is a popular upgrade for enthusiasts who already have a quality machine and grinder, such as a Eureka Mignon. Tell us your machine and grinder and we will confirm the right fit.
