Which Smeg coffee machine should I choose?

It depends on how hands-on you want to be. Smeg's manual espresso machines give you full control over the shot with a steam wand for texturing milk, while the bean-to-cup and drip filter models handle more of the work for you. If you want café-style espresso and enjoy the process, go manual; if you want great coffee with minimal effort, choose bean-to-cup. Our team can help you match a model to your routine.

What's the difference between Smeg's espresso and bean-to-cup machines?

Smeg's manual espresso machines put you in control of the shot, with a steam wand for texturing milk by hand. The bean-to-cup models grind, brew and (on some models) froth automatically at the touch of a button. Manual suits those who enjoy the ritual; bean-to-cup suits those who want great coffee with minimal effort.

Smeg Australia, Design-Led Coffee & Kitchen Appliances

Few brands are as instantly recognisable as Smeg. Founded in Italy in 1948, Smeg has become a byword for appliances that pair retro-inspired styling with genuine performance, the kind of pieces you leave out on the bench because they look as good as they work. At Prestige Coffee, we stock the Smeg range across coffee machines, kettles, toasters, blenders and more, so you can build a coordinated kitchen in your choice of signature colours.

Smeg Coffee Machines

Smeg's espresso and drip coffee machines bring the brand's distinctive 1950s-style design to your morning coffee, without compromising on function. From compact manual espresso machines to bean-to-cup and drip filter models, each is built to deliver café-quality coffee while making a statement on your benchtop. Available in Smeg's signature pastel and classic colourways to match the rest of your kitchen.

More Than Coffee

Beyond coffee, the Smeg range extends across the whole kitchen: variable-temperature kettles, slot toasters, stand mixers, blenders and hand mixers, all finished in the same iconic style. It's an easy way to bring a coordinated, design-led look to your space, whether you're kitting out a new kitchen or upgrading piece by piece. Browse our full range of Smeg kitchen appliances to complete the set.
