Powder Coated handles are available in a wide range of colours and are great in providing a custom colour environment for your machine or work place. The process of powdercoating essentially covers the aluminium handle in painted colour that is baked hard using heat.
The potential for damage via chipping or scratching is greater than for anodised handles simply due to the coated surface instead of a chemical process.
