Common faults
Common Rocket faults we fix
Even well-built machines wear with daily use, heat and scale. These are the faults we see most often on Rocket machines.
Group head leaks
Leaks around the portafilter usually mean the E61 group gasket and shower screen are due for replacement.
Steam pressure loss
Weak steam often points to scale in the boiler, a faulty pressurestat or worn valves.
Temperature problems
Unstable brew temperature on PID models usually needs the probe, controller or heating element checked.
Pump and flow issues
A noisy pump or slow flow can come from a worn vibratory or rotary pump, or a blocked jet.
Water leaks
Puddles under the machine usually come from worn seals, hardened O-rings or loose plumbing.
How it works
Our Rocket service and repair process
Every Rocket service starts with a full inspection of the E61 group, boilers, pump and heating system. We replace group seals and shower screens, descale, and check pressure and temperature, using genuine parts. We back our workmanship with a warranty.

FAQs
Rocket repair questions
Do you repair Rocket coffee machines?
Yes. Our technicians repair and service Rocket Espresso home and commercial machines, including heat exchanger and dual boiler models, using genuine parts.
Is there a fee to assess my machine?
A workshop assessment fee is payable when you drop your machine in. Our technicians then inspect your machine and quote on what it needs.
How often should my Rocket be serviced?
We recommend a professional service every 12 months, plus regular backflushing at home. Adelaide's hard water builds scale quickly, so regular servicing protects the boiler and heating elements.
Can you service commercial Rocket machines?
Yes. We service home and commercial Rocket machines, including the Boxer and Doppia. Call us on (08) 8352 2022 to discuss your machine and we'll organise the best option.
