Common faults

Common Siemens coffee machine faults we fix

Fully automatic machines have a lot of moving parts, and daily use and scale build-up wear them out over time. These are the faults we see most often on Siemens machines.

Brewing unit problems

A stuck, leaking or dirty brewing unit causes weak coffee, grounds in the drip tray or the machine refusing to brew.

Milk system problems

Weak or no milk froth usually points to a blocked milk circuit, scale build-up or worn seals.

Grinder problems

Strange noises or beans not grinding usually mean the grinder needs cleaning, adjusting or replacing.

Water leaks

Water pooling under or inside the machine often comes from worn hoses, seals or valves.

No power or not heating

A machine that won't turn on or heat up may need a new heater, thermal fuse or electronics repair.

Error messages

Fault codes and messages that won't clear usually need a technician to diagnose sensors and internal components.

FAQs

Siemens repair questions

Are you an authorised Siemens repairer?

Yes. Prestige is an authorised Siemens service agent, with access to Siemens technical information and genuine Siemens parts.

My Siemens coffee machine is still under warranty. What should I do?

For warranty repairs, contact Siemens first to log your warranty claim. For out-of-warranty repairs and servicing, bring your benchtop machine straight to us, or call us about a built-in machine.

How do you repair Siemens built-in coffee machines?

Built-in machines can't easily be dropped off, so just call us on (08) 8352 2022. Our technician will come to your home to uninstall the machine and bring it back to our workshop, where it's repaired with genuine Siemens parts.

Is there a fee to assess my machine?

Yes, a workshop assessment fee is payable at the time of drop off. Our technicians then inspect your machine and quote on what it needs.

How often should my Siemens be serviced?

We recommend a professional service every 12 months, plus regular descaling and cleaning when your machine prompts you. Adelaide's hard water builds scale quickly, so regular care helps prevent blockages.
